Health & Safety or Environmental Consultancy from £89 per month!

We can give you confidence that your legal commitments are clarified and can then be taken care of.

We can become your required / designated Competent Person for a small monthly fee with access to telephone advice at any time.

If you require additional support such as weekly / monthly HS&E Visits, Accident Investigations, Inspections, Audits, Training; or you would just prefer a set time each month to support etc; we can design a reasonably priced package bespoke to your businesses needs.

Health & Safety Policies

RAMS Safety can develop your Health & Safety Policies on your behalf. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA) section 2(3) requires that anyone employing five or more persons must:
- Prepare a written statement of policy
- Set out organisation and arrangement for implementing policy
- Revise and update as necessary
- Bring the policy and arrangements to the notice of all employees

RAMS will bring a common sense approach to developing policies relevant to your business.

SSIP Accreditations

SSIP Accreditation is an umbrella body for Health and Safety accreditation schemes such as CHAS, Constructionline, Safe Contractor, SMAS, Acclaim and others.

When you use RAMS Safety to apply for CHAS, Constructionline, Safe Contractor or any other SSIP accredited scheme, we will work with you from start to finish to understand the individual needs of your business and provide a bespoke solution to maximise the chances of a successful application.

Health & Safety Training

A competent workforce is a legal requirement. Training is a key element of competence and we can help with various Health & Safety Training requirements. Contact us and we will do our best to help.
We have access to direct training and online training with everything from Manual Handling to Work at Height Training can complete / arrange CITB (Health & Safety Awareness, SMSTS, SSSTS) and IOSH Managing Safely courses via our partnership H&S companies.

Risk Assessments

If you have 5 or more employees, it is a legal requirement to document "suitable and sufficient" Risk Assessments and reduce risk to an acceptable level - we can help to meet your legal requirements and therefore protect business - prevent harm.

Construction & CDM

The Construction, Design & Management / CDM Regulations place duties on all those who contribute to the Health and Safety of a construction project.

The Regulations give specific duties to Clients, Principal Designers, Designers, Principle Contractors, Contractors and Workers, and require each “Duty Holder” to understand and fulfill their obligations on a construction project. The degree of detail as well as the time and effort required to comply with your legal duties need only be proportionate to the nature, size and level of health and safety risks involved in the project.

Face Fit Testing from £19 per person!

The Health effects of dust inhalation are well documented. The HSE are continuing to pursue and ensure this is adequately controlled.

If dust masks are required, we can visit your preferred location and complete Qualitative Face-Fit Testing to help ensure you are legally compliant and your employees are protected.

We can come to a location of your choice to complete FFTY and minimise any disruption to your business.

Method Statements

Many businesses asked by their Clients to produce Method Statement as part of their Health and Safety policy, for larger projects, or to support CDM Regulations requirements. A Method Statement details how a particular process will be carried out, the possible dangers / risks associated with your activities / part of the project and the methods of control to be established, to show how the work will be managed safely. RAMS safety will analyse your working processes and produce bespoke method statements / controls to reduce the risks involved.

Fire Risk Assessments

Every business owner and employer must be able to demonstrate that all fire risks have been assessed / managed and the results recorded with a written fire risk assessments.
RAMS Safety can provide you with comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments for various types of buildings / settings at competitive rates.

Competent Persons

It is a legal requirement to appoint someone with the necessary training, experience and knowledge to help you manage health and safety within your organisation. There may already be someone within your organisation that could perform the role, but unless you can be sure they possess the right qualifications and knowledge, a much simpler and often cost effective solution is to appoint RAMS Safety Safety as your competent person. Using a specialist health and safety company as your competent person, improves your credibility so that moving forward the tendering process and marketing your business becomes easier as you have a competent person you can rely on.
