RAMS Safety Story
RAMS Safety (North East) Limited was formed in 2021
During / following the pandemic, I spoke to many business owners and operators who felt exposed and believe they would benefit from further help, support and guidance in Health, Safety and Environmental compliance etc. However, many businesses do not have access to competent HS&E support to help protect themselves and their employees from legal proceedings, fines, civil claims, increased insurance premiums – or worse, serious injures.
I decided that after 20+ years of experience in the Health, Safety and Environmental profession, I have acquired vast knowledge in various industries, which can be used to support businesses and help them meet their requirements. I want to use my knowledge, skillset and competence to PROTECT BUSINESS and PREVENT HARM for my Clients.
RAMS Safety (North East) Limited was formed in October 2021, serving North East England (Sunderland / Wearside, Newcastle / Tyneside, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Middlesbrough / Teesside) and further afield.

Neil Davison BSc MSc CMIOSH
Neil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Health, Safety and Environment. He also holds an Extended Engineering Foundation Degree, Mental Health First Aid certification, PTLLS (C&G 7303) Teacher Training Certificate, NEBS Supervisory Management qualification, IOSH Legionella Control Certification, P405 Certificate for Management of Asbestos, LRQA Internal Auditor qualifications and a Level 4 Diploma in Psychology. He is also a Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
Industry Experience
With over 20 years’ health, safety, quality and environmental experience across various industry sectors including Facilities Management, Construction, Quarries, Waste Management, Prescribed Processes, Retail, Manufacturing, Marine, Steelworks, Roadworks and Industrial Process sectors, Neil brings many transferable skills and an in-depth understanding of workplace cultures.
Other Experience
Neil has managed various teams throughout his career and is an award-winning practitioner who understands how to provide a pragmatic and methodical approach to promote and influence positively at all levels, providing simple cost-effective solutions for risk control and continuous improvement.
Neil is also a qualified Lumina Spark Practitioner and provides performance coaching.
